Support Services
Because every baby and parenting situation is different, we want you to have as much support as possible before your baby arrives. At Pregnancy Resources, we offer parenting classes, baby supplies, and referrals to other services.
MEDICAL AND RESOURCE REFERRALS
Our community here in Abilene is filled with wonderful doctors and organizations to help give you accurate medical information, and we are able to help connect you to those resources. We also have Proof of Pregnancy forms needed for Medicaid are available by request.
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL
COUNSELING
When facing an unplanned pregnancy, it’s understandable to experience things like anxiety, depression, and grief. We have a licensed professional counselor here at our clinic when you are needing help with some of these emotional issues. We also offer support in areas of miscarriage, abortion, relationships, stress, and abuse. You do not have to be pregnant to qualify for counseling services.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
Every person needs a place to turn in a moment of crisis. Our team wants to be there for you, whatever you may need. Besides our free professional services, we offer emotional support in order to make you feel cared for and encouraged, no matter what you are facing.
BABY SUPPLIES
We operate as a 501c3, which means that we receive an abundance of donations aimed at giving you the support that you need. Whether it be items to help you through your parenting journey (diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food), or any other supplies that will help, you can receive these items every Thursday morning from 10:00am to 12:30pm. This service is available to anyone with children in the home, including parents, grandparents, and foster parents.
