What if I'm bad at being a parent?

Part 1. You will learn the basics of breastfeeding, including breastmilk composition, immune system, and why it's a great choice for mom and baby. Part 2. Get expert advice to help you understand ways to promote successful breastfeeding. Topics include latch, positioning, and pumping.
This class is taught by a registered childbirth instructor, and should be attended around the third trimester. Topics covered include labor stages, comfort techniques, medical procedures, c-sections, newborns, and postpartum. (call us to sign up for this class)
We offer three community groups that are free to attend to help people find friends and support along their journey.
DADS DOING STUFF
This group is created by dads, and for dads. The goal of this group is to connect dads in the same life stage, and create community. Join us at Pregnancy Resources of Abilene.
THE BABY BUNCH
A support group for busy moms who need a little break. Come get out of the house and meet other mamas and enjoy some coffee at The Front Porch coffee shop and bakery.
HOPE IN THE WAITING
A support group for women who are dealing with infertility, miscarriage, the adoption process, or prolonged waiting for motherhood. *This is a faith-based group.
