Why Do I Need an Ultrasound?
Obstetric ultrasounds can help determine:
-
How far along you are (the approximate age of your pregnancy)
-
If the pregnancy is viable and if there is a potentially life-threatening ectopic (tubal) pregnancy
-
Whether or not you are carrying a single fetus or multiples (depending on gestational age)
If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound is an important health and safety step that can determine how far along you are and what options are available to you. We exist to empower women facing unexpected pregnancies with free services, resources, and ongoing support.
1
Considering Abortion?
The abortion pill is only FDA-approved for early pregnancy and should not be ordered online. An ultrasound is recommended to determine the viability and length of pregnancy before taking the abortion pill or proceeding with an out-of-state abortion.
The type and cost of abortions depend on multiple factors, including how far along you are and if there are any pregnancy complications. We do not provide or refer for abortion services but we can give you the answers you need before you decide. All services are free of charge. Contact us to learn more.

"I love this place and am glad it is a free available resource."
"I was so surprised how warm and welcoming this place was. Living in Abilene all my life I assumed our pregnancy recorces would be judgemental and pushy, but I was so wrong. They make you feel comfortable the second you walk in."
"They're always so nice and helpful. No one judges, and always makes you feel cared about."
